We bought our Caldera Spa from New Products, Inc. in 2010 and have been extremely satisfied with it ever since. There was a minor issue in the second year and the owner, Jim Henderson came out that same day and fixed it without charge because it was still under warranty. Since then it has continued to perform beautifully without any problems ever since. I have nothing but the highest praise for Caldera spas but more importantly I have the utmost confidence in Mr. Henderson’s integrity, professionalism and product knowledge, including installation. If you are even thinking of buying a spa, this should be your very first stop. You won’t be disappointed.

In mid 1991 we bought a home that had a spa. Turned out it had been bought from, and installed by New Products (odd name I thought) over 5 years before we became the owners of the home. Yes, my hot tub is about 28 years old now!! Probably unheard of in the industry, but thanks to Jim, Jay, and the technicians at New Products, it is still working! I have a gas heater, something that hasn’t even been made for years and thus is very hard to service (ie. no parts avail.), but Jim had the foresight to purchase all available parts when they stopped making gas motors for spas. When any other spa dealer would have told me I had reached the end of my spa’s life, Jim was willing and able to help me keep this old spa going (for very fair if not little expense). My gas heater went out completely last week and I figured it was a goner! Amazingly, Jim actually had the right part and was able to fix it!! I can’t express enough my gratitude and relief!! I was literally jumping up and down excited! The customer service, integrity and honesty that I have experienced with Jim H. and his employee’s is rare these days and I am glad to sing their justly deserved praises!! I know the day will come that I will have to replace this old tub, and there is absolutely no one else I would even consider going to for a new spa. I know how important reliable honest service is on any product we buy for our homes. I know I can count on Jim and Jay at New Products. There is a reason New Products has such loyal customers! (& you can count on Jay to always remember your name too! Amazing!)

We purchased our 3 person Kauai hot tub about 4 years ago from New Products. We did a lot of comparison shopping and without a doubt the “3 Js” offered a competitive price with outstanding customer service and knowledge. No problems so far and the tub has operated exactly as they said it would operate. These guys are ALWAYS willing to answer any questions you have about operation of your tub. We buy all our supplies from them because they offer such outstanding service and advice. Even more amazing is they remember everyone who’s bought a tub from them. When you walk in they greet you by your name. Very very cool!

Tremendous service ! Above & beyond ! When I had a mystery leak in my 5 year old hot tub, I searched for a repair service & had the best possible luck in finding New Products. James arrived promptly & was able to diagnose & do the repair very rapidly. Owner Jim came by & worked alongside James to fine tune the electrical set up. James & Jim are highly professional, intelligent and personable, perfect examples of courtesy and quality work ethic. And the service call costs are very reasonable. (I just wish I had bought my hot tub from New Products years ago, and I definitely plan to deal with them when it’s time to replace my current hot tub.) I would recommend New Products & Jim and James without reservation.

Jim and his team at New Products did a beautiful repair job on a tub that we bought from them over a year ago. The repair job was needed because of shoddy workmanship done by another supplier when installing the electrical connection. New Products gives excellent service, they are more than reasonable in price and they get the job done quickly and professionally. We love our spa and its worked out great. I highly recommend New Products for new spas or repair. They are the best in Marin.

this was one of the most enjoyable “big ticket” purchases ever for me. I did my research and narrowed it down to three hot tub brands then went shopping in three counties ( marin, sonoma and alameda) for a good company and a competitive price Within five minutes of meeting jim , I knew I wanted to buy a spa from New Products that feature caldera spas He explained everything to me, gave me a very fair price, came to my house for initial site inspections and helped me arrange excellent contractors for cement pads and electrical hookups I went with jim because he has been in business for over 35 years and services and supports what he sells. I also like the fact I was dealing with the owner and not a commissioned sales rep looking to make promises they can’t keep and charge higher prices for the same product…and to make it better, jim even delivered and installed the tub himself with his son….not some outside company that just delivers, sets up and leave Overall I was impressed with everything about new products inc and jim henderson..we now have the perfect hot tub and everything went better than expected….to me this is the only place to buy a hot tub !

I love our new hot tub! I did a bunch of research on different hot tubs and decided to go with a brand new tub from a reputable manufacturer. After visiting a number of spa dealerships, I decided to go with Jim, just because he was upfront and honest, didn’t pressure me to buy anything I didn’t want or need, and was easy to reach by phone and email. Getting it into our backyard was not easy, and I was glad we chose Jim and New Products – he came out first and measured and assured me he could fit it through the narrow passageway between the houses. After the tub was in he took the time to really explain how everything works and how to keep the tub clean, etc. I would recommend getting a tub from here. Very personable, reliable, and professional.

James (the owner’s son) just came and repaired our hot tub. He figured out the problem right away (burned out heater board) and fixed it all in about 15 minutes! James also gave me tips on keeping the hot tub in good condition. He was honest, fast and very nice deal with! I highly recommend him. The owner also knows everything about hot tubs

Based on the reviews I read here on Yelp, as well as about a half dozen phone calls to various hot tub dealers in the area, we decided to purchase our tub from Jim at New Products. It was really Jim that sold us. He was straightforward, gave us some great info about the difference between current tubs and the old failed redwood tub we used to own (that came with our house 30 years ago). I especially liked that he was both the salesman, supervised installation, and also would be responsible for repairs (if we ever needed them). We purchased our tub from Jim last July. We love it even more than our old tub. No reservations to recommending this company (as long as Jim’s still around). So, why did I wait a year to review? Mostly I wanted to see how service/support was handled. No need for service, but the single support call I made was handled well.

I came across Jim / New Products Inc. byway of me wanting to sell a used Marquis Retreat Spa on Craig’s List. While the spa was only seven years old, I was tired of pouring money into repairs and parts replacements in what was supposed to be a ‘quality’ spa. Seems that Marquis highly over-rate the reliability and I decided that the spa had to go. I placed a listing on Craig’s List and got numerous replies, including one from Jim. You can’t be too careful with Craig’s List ‘buyers’ (way too many scammers!) and after a few emails back and forth, along with a phone call, I was convinced that Jim was not just another Craig’s Lister on another ‘phishing’ expedition. Long story short, Jim bought the used spa and picked it up; we had new concrete and Jim, along with one of his employees, took great care in protecting the concrete from damage while removing and loading the spa. Jim was very professional during the entire transaction and I can certainly recommend him and his business to people who are sick and tired of all the unscrupulous people out there just trying to make a fast buck.

Jim and Jay are great. Very reasonable prices and great customer service. I bought my hot tub from them 4 years ago and go back to get supplies. I am always impressed they remember my name. I highly recommend them.
